Obesity Linked To Food Packaging

Washington…A study conducted by scientists in the US has established a link between overweight and obese children with a chemical found in food packaging. The substance known as Bisphenol A (BPA) can be found in everyday food packaging such as soda cans. The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, said that the research which was conducted on four groups of children showed 22 percent of children with the highest BPA content in their urine were obese.
