Get moving to cut cancer risk

Research published in JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) Internal Medicine found that average to vigorous exercise, lowers the risk of developing 13 types of cancer. Active people had a 42 percent lower risk of contracting esophageal cancer, a 27 percent lower risk of developing liver cancer and a 26 percent lower risk of developing lung cancer. Average to vigorous exercises include walking, running and swimming for more than 150 minutes per week.
